September 1 - First version of Territory interface added.
August 30 - Moyoman version 0.16 is released, which contains a newly updated IgoProverbs module, and the new LadderImpl module.
August 30 - The LadderImpl Ladder module has been added.
August 23 - New framework code has been checked in which is slightly more optimized for search. The time to read out the same ladder discussed in the news from August 19 is now 700 msec. This comes out to a capability of about 97 positions per second. This involves searching on the Groups module. Obviously, searching on a higher level module will result in lower numbers. The algorithm used here involves running all modules sequentially. Later on, this will be enhanced to use multi-threading. The above results were obtained running on Linux on a 1.6GHz machine.
August 21 - The IgoProverbs module has been updated with three new proverbs.
August 19 - The framework package was partially optimized for search. The time to read out a ladder which goes from the 3,3 to the 19, 19 point is now 1 second, down from over 20 seconds. Further optimization can be done, but searching has now gone from unworkable to slow but possible. The above results were obtained running on Linux on a 1.6GHz machine.
